How I met your mother seems like a very popular show, now, how about How I met James? Got an assignment to do this and this was what I wanted to blog about since ages ago but couldn't find the time to do it.
How we met was really epic. I did not know him only recently 6-7 months ago but more than 3 years back in 2014. Another blogger brought him there as a plus one while I attended Next Face of Asia as a blogger with Shine.
I just started blogging then and I was warned that he was a playboy and that I had to be careful of him. I was thinking "He look like he like girls with figures or pretty face, why would I even need to worry?" because I look damn young and I had my boyfriend then so why should we even worry. LOL. The makeup below was done by a makeup artist prior to the event so I looked older there.
Subsequently, he hung out with the girl beside him after the event. LOL. We didn't keep in contact or talk much that night. All we knew was each other's existence.
Then, we met again 1.5 year later at sOmang event at Causeway Point with other MFP bloggers. He was there with his then girlfriend. Being the only guy there, I couldn't help but wonder "Why was he even here in the first place?" Lol. He was seated directly infront of me and we did not even utter a single word to each other. We were just strangers.
And another half a year later, we met at a food tasting at Park Royal Hotel. We smiled, said hi, and that was the end. I never wanted to cross his path and vice versa. We had a lot of opportunities to meet again in between, for example, I was supposed to catch a movie with the boys - William and HP with James but I was held up at work so I had to back out at the last minute. It happened quite a few time with dinner dates too.
Finally, we met again at Magnum. I went there with TC and I don't want to be there too early so I went over to look for HP and William who brought James along. It was the usual nonchalant hi. We didn't talk much. But the other boys were busy mingling around with other bloggers so we were kinda left alone with some other bloggers whom we were not close with.
We had to talk then I guess?
He got lucky that night as well cause he had to plant a kiss on my cheek with William :X :X :X :X :X
We did not hang out right after Magnum's event. There was even once where we (HP, William and me) waiting for James to finish his date with another girl because they wanted to hangout together after that.
It was such a twist. Looking at him with different girls all these while and now, I ended up with him LOL. Sometimes we would laugh at how we met or know each other and how did we even get together in the end.
Yeap, this is basically how we met and yup, we may look sweet but we quarrel like shit when we quarrel. Both of us are extremely hot tempered, I guess if we really want this relationship to work out, we must learn how to compromise :)
