At the media announcement session held at The Powder Room on 18 March, we were given a sneak peek into what's in store at the four-day trade event. The BLUEPRINT Tradeshow, a fashion trade gateway for East West Exchange, seeks to connect domestic and overseas buyers and brands and hence provide "exiciting sales and networking opportunities".
That is followed by the Emporium whereby the public can purchase cull samples, limited edition pieces, and off-season collections, many of which have never been stocked before in Asia.
Fashion aficionados can anticipate the coming-together of brands and buyers from countries such as Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Korea, Japan, Australia, United Kingdom, Germany, France and America. Labels will be classified into seven trending styles: Feminine Chic, Modern Minimalist, Classic, Avant Garde, Bespoke Tailored, Sports, and Urban Streetwear.

Electric Fantasies
This year's theme is 'Electric Fantasies'. It represents the tie-in of imagination and business.
What's New
Q Menswear, a locally based premium menswear label offering both ready-to-wear fashion products and bespoke services, will be making their debut at this year's trade show and emporium.
Sydney-based label Mocha Salt will also be participating for the first time. They are the epitome of truly transitional and comfortable swimshorts - suitable for hiking and biking, as well - for the active urban male.

Designer Education Series
Featuring a host of webinars and networking sessions, the Designer Education Series will be launched as part of BLUEPRINT 2015's new direction in hopes of heightening the involvement from a panel of esteemed buyers.
Ms Fay Nwokobia-Rees, Project Director of BLUEPRINT Tradeshow and Emporium 2015, says: "We are thrilled to launch our inaugural edition of the Designer Education Series as part of Blueprint 2015. This initiative serves to support our new underlying strategy which is to provide a 365 day a year platform to support the local design community, in partnership with our friends at TAF.f. In addition, we present new curation and merchandising strategies which will elevate the buyer experience. By supporting both our designers and the buyers who purchase from them, we aim to enhance the core pinnacle of Blueprint which is to support critical commercial success."
Propelling Local Brands Into International Fashion Market
In support of homegrown talents, BLUEPRINT 2015 will collaborate with Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) to select a Ready-To-Wear label and an Accessory brand to showcase their collections in New York with a showroom presentation.
