1. Being late on your first date
Being late on your first date is definitely a major turn off for anyone. It reflects really badly on oneself. It shows that you’re not keen on progressing further. So, why would she still wanna hang out with you?
2. Farts and burps
Face farts and butt burps or whatever you may call it, it’s just downright disgusting. People say it’s natural to fart and burp. Yeah, I do agree it’s natural BUT please walk away or at the very least, say ‘Excuse me’ before you do it right in front of me as I think it’s really very rude to do so.
3. Guys that expect you to pay for the meal
I think it’s very wrong to make a girl to pay on the very first date. Okay guys, you might think that you might not be obligated to pay on the first date, but it definitely makes the other party feel like you’re being stingy over a meal.
4. Sneezing and coughing
If you are unwell, please stay at home and rest. Trust me, it’s definitely better to postpone the date than to show up ill and spread your virus to her. She would be cursing and swearing at you at the end of the day.
5. Dress code and the way you dress depending on the location
You wouldn’t want to dress up like you are going to the beach if you have booked a dinner in a high-end restaurant. It’s really unpleasant to wear too casual.
6. Being and looking unhygienic
NO, just don’t. Do not ever dig your nose in front of your date on the first date. Likewise for digging your ears, scratching your ass, biting nails and etc. And you definitely don’t want to look dirty on your first date.
7. Whiny, bitchy and gossipy
Shut up. Be. A. Man.
8. Talking about marriage/meeting the parents
Talking about marriage or wanting to meet the parents on the first date is insane, completely insane. If you are hoping for a second date, remember to not bring this topic up.
9. Ditching her alone after dinner and not sending her home
No matter how far away you stay away from her, please remember to send her back home. Don’t drop her at a nearby bus stop and ask her to go home on her own. It once happened to me, and I was completely shocked and ignored him afterwards (yeah even though it was because he needed to rush back to have dinner with his parents).
10. Jumping into the topic, sex.
Big NO. It's your first meet up, and if you do it, most probably it's gonna be your last meet up with her.
