Online Shopping: A finger cum eye sport that requires internet connection to proceed.

And yes, it's true, this online shopping thing might be an ADDICTION to some. And let's see if you have two or more traits that'll make you a possible online shopping addict.

1. Mr Parcel and Mr Postman is your new BFF!

Finding yourself having your house doorbell ringing more often and having to sign more parcel acknowledgement forms than usual? This is one obvious evidence that shows you are buying way too many things online. You gradually feel that more and more boxes are actually piling up in your house unopened and not even knowing the contents. By then, you are probably a serious addict already. I admit the excitement when a parcel comes but when it comes every few other days, it gets a bit boring and you just stack them like UNO Stacko and gradually, this becomes a habit. And on days you are in the mood to unwrap it, you wonder, when did you actually make that purchase 「(゚ペ)...

2. Your mailbox gets flooded with online shopping sites newsletters

Admit it! Cause I also have these PUSH mailers on my inbox and something the catchy titles just lure you to click them. One site which I personally LOVE & HATE! ASOS.COM !! Just admit you are same as me. You love their clothes yet these push mailers are just luring you to click them almost everytime that 20%, 50%, 60% or FURTHER SALE REDUCTION! caption comes up on your freshly received mail in your mailbox. Well, like me, I always click on their site when these captions come up and although I know for sure, I browsed their entire list just last week but I become obsessively lured into that loop again (⊙_◎)"""""

3. You find yourself clicking into online shopping sites during different times of the day

No matter if you are occupied or not, these online shopping sites will eat up some of your time here and there and this is no doubt the TRUTH! I admit when I am working, I would just sometimes be carried away with ASOS.COM or Tabao.com . And these sites will make you open numerous tabs on your browser so you can choose and revert which you really want to buy. Trust me, these are such time-consuming processes and soon you'll know, you haven't got your REAL work done. And sometimes, you just have to force yourself to bookmark all those sites and do them after working hours. And this endless loop continues for hours and even days. I admit being guilty of this and I experience these symptoms once every few months. And the reason to it? Mostly work stress and I just had to get my mind off somewhere where looking at things just makes me happy (⊙﹏⊙)"

4. You have ALREADY memorised your Credit Card number and all details

Yup! That string of 16 digits has been well stored in your brain hard disk. And blurting it out is just a breeze! That is SCARY! Cause why? That shows how often you are using your card or cards in every online transaction that you actually made friends with the 16 digits and the CVV numbers. That's bad bad bad. We all have to admit that our brain cells ain't like the past we memorise phone numbers and long string of digits. And if we do, there must be a reason. Well, if you find yourself memorising your credit card number effortlessly. It's a WARNING SIGN!

5. You gradually realise that you have too many of EVERYTHING!

Online SALES and online purchases can be really dangerous as they make us buy unnecessary stuff just because it looks good or it's on sale. Our minds just tell us, WE HAVE TO OWN THEM! If you find yourself filled with tons of repetitive things at home and useless things, you might already be in the " ONLINE SHOPPING ADDICTION ZONE "!

If you find that you possess any ONE of the above, you should be worried as there is already one trait and the second will come hand in hand after the first. So be wary and start controlling yourself now! DON'T BE AN ONLINE SHOPPING ADDICT!
