It was an evening of glitz and glamour at the Audi Red Carpet Night 2013, the gala dinner curtain raiser to Audi Fashion Festival. Guests were given a red carpet welcome to fashion’s new address at the Tent@Marina Promenade. The new landmark location brought together more than 450 esteemed guests which included luminaries from fashion, society, business and politics.

The evening kicked-off with a light-hearted comedic performance by the Tenors Undercover, and was followed by the Audi Star Creation (ASC) Showcase. A regional fashion design competition aimed at uncovering local and Asian talents, three winners were awarded a SGD$10,000 cash prize by Audi Singapore.
ASC 2013 winners Haziq Putra from Singapore, Vu Ta Linh from Vietnam and Sun Yi Jin from China will return to the stage next year to present their capsule collection as part of Audi Fashion Festival 2014. Of the three winners of Audi Star Creation, Haziq Putra from Singapore took home the Audi Young Designer Award, an additional cash prize of SGD$10,000 for having designed a creation that best embodied the Audi design spirit of innovation, technology and progression. This is the first time that a Singaporean has won the Audi Young Designer Award.
PAVONI BY MIKAEL D, FALL WINTER 2013-2014
The evening also saw the glamorous and spectacular Fall/Winter 2013-2014 collection from luxury fashion house PAVONI BY MIKAEL D. This is the label’s Asian premiere. The Audi Red Carpet Night climaxed with the arrival of the Audi R8 supercar onto the fashion runway before an eager audience. Other highlights of the night included the unveiling of the Audi A3 Sportback and an exclusive preview by the cast of the hit musical, Dirty Dancing, ahead of their debut in Singapore later this month.
