Berries with Coconut Yogurt and Mint
Farmers' market fresh berries are all you need. Just toss some berries into a bowl and gently drizzle in a little maple syrup or honey with coconut yogurt (whole milk or coconut based is wonderful either way) and dapple with fresh mint leaves. Chocolate mint leaves are my favorite pairing--- they grow in my backyard herb planter and smell just like a chocolate mint!

Açai berry and pitaya come together in this Açai Pitaya Superfood Smoothie. Luscious amounts of açai berry and pitaya (dragonfruit) blended with coconut water make this a good combination to nourish yourself when you don't have enough time to sit down for breakfast. Pitaya is known as dragonfruit and can be found fresh in Asian supermarkets or frozen as a smoothie base in most health food markets. Add a little spoonful of coconut oil, young Thai coconut meat (pre-prepared and frozen) and lucuma powder for extra creamy texture. (All ingredients can found in most health food markets.) Lavender blossoms make it pretty and are edible in small amounts. This superfood smoothie is one of my beauty secrets. Go for the glow and you'll feel that ohh!
