Emma Roberts, 24, plays the lead character Chanel Oberlin, a terrifying sorority co-president who lords over her minions (the Chanels) on the hit fall show “Scream Queens.” In real life, Ms. Roberts, who was born in the Hudson Valley but grew up in the Hollywood Hills, is quite a bit more approachable and a beauty product junkie to boot. Here, the actress and Aerie model shares her beauty favorites.

SKIN CARE

This is my favorite thing: my AmorePacific Dual Eye Cream — one is for day and one is for night. The day one has sunscreen in it. I am obsessed with beauty tips, and I’m obsessed with products. So I’m always reading online and magazines, and I’m always asking my friends what they’re using. We shoot in New Orleans, and on my days off, I go to the Saks there and get new stuff. I love beauty counters.

Right now, I can’t live without the Tata Harper Beautifying Face Oil. Then I use Murad oil-control mattifying SPF 15. It’s great because makeup goes really smoothly over it. I love Neutrogena makeup remover wipes — I have literally 10 packs of them. They’re the only ones that don’t make my eyes red.

Once a week, I love the Ren Flash One-Minute facial. I have five of them because I’m always afraid things will be discontinued. Sometimes I’ll do the SK-II sheet mask. I’ve done those sheet masks in front of boyfriends and scared the crap out of them. I don’t get embarrassed in the name of beauty.

For my body, I use almond oil I got from Whole Foods — I love the smell of it. If I’m showering in the morning, I dry brush. All the models talk about it in articles, so I tried it. I don’t really see a visible difference, but I do it anyway. I feel like it exfoliates a bit.

MAKEUP

Some days when I’m not working, I might do nothing. I just wear a pair of big sunglasses as my makeup. I’m not big on doing liner or shadow or a harsh lipstick during the day. On a day off, I’ll use an under-eye concealer — I use Tom Ford — and Anastasia clear brow gel. I’ll use a Shiseido eyelash curler and Chanel Inimitable mascara. I just started using the Honest Company cream blush — it’s so pretty. And I can’t live without the Beauty Blender sponge.

If I’m wearing foundation, I like Armani Luminous Silk — Lea Michele told me about it. Then I just got this Bare Minerals Rose Passion lip color. It looks dark, but when you put it on, it’s actually a little stain.

I’m always looking for great new colors, but I’m also good at throwing out stuff I don’t use. The only thing I hold on to is a good shade of red. So I have a lot of different red lipsticks at home. Nars does a really good one, and so does Chanel.

FRAGRANCE

I love Le Labo Santal 33 and Neroli 36 because they don’t smell perfume-y. I’ve become such a fan I even bought their detergent. I wash my sheets in it. Recently I got the Miu Miu perfume, and it’s fun for going out at night. And the bottle is so cute. Bottles matter.

HAIR

My natural color is dirty blond. I either have to go blond or brunette, otherwise it looks kind of mousy. I go to Nine Zero One Salon in Los Angeles. Right now I have extensions for “Scream Queens.” When “Scream Queens” ends, I’m going to cut it all off. I love having it blond and short because I can just roll out of bed and put some sea salt spray in it and be out the door. I use Oribe color-treated hair shampoo, and I love their texture spray and hair spray. Sometimes I’ll do a Kerastase mask, and I love Serge Normant shine spray. That smells so good.

OTHER SERVICES

I just started doing acupuncture in New Orleans because the city is such a mystical place with amazingly gifted people who are almost like healers. His name is Quang, and he works out of his house, and he’ll work on 10 people at a time. I’ve noticed such a difference: It centers me, and I feel like it gets the blood flowing. Here we work, like, 12 to 15 hours a day, and you get really drained.

Lately I’m so into nail polish. I love Julep. They do such good colors. I just got a blue that looks like denim. I got gel a couple of times, but when they file them off, it really freaked me out. When I get a day off in New Orleans, I love to get a coffee, go get my nails done and work out. I’m a total girly-girl in that sense.

DIET AND FITNESS

I try to be healthy, but I will have dessert. I always have Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups and Swedish Fish on set because I have to have something to look forward to. I’m not into gluten-free or diets like that. I do try to vary what I’m eating, though.

I am not a running person. Everyone laughs at me because my legs turn out when I run. I look absolutely ridiculous. I stopped running in seventh grade. But on our days off, Lea Michele — she’s also in “Scream Queens” — and I will go do Pilates together.

I also love yoga — I go to Reyn Studios in New Orleans. I like workouts that are good for your mind as well. With my job, your mind can get very noisy, and you can get a lot of anxiety. Sometimes I’ll be up at night and unable to sleep because I have anxiety about stuff. When I do Pilates and yoga, I sleep easier and feel a bit more able to handle everything.
