The no makeup look is so 2015. Come 2016, we are adoring strong lips and bright coloured eyes. MyFatPocket gathers the wearable looks for you that are trending this Spring.
1. Blue Eyeshadow
Blue and blue-green eyeshadows are coming on strong. From full on colour to pastels with a sheer touch, there are many different ways to wear blue on your lids this season.
Editor's tip: Try different shades of blue till you find one that suits your skin tone. Use a pastel or sheer shade when you are heading for the office. Try a smoky navy shadow for a night look, or an intense cyan eyeliner on your playful days.

2. Pink Eyeshadow
Pink eyeshadow is fighting for the no. 1 spot with blue this Spring. Together with pink, peach pinks and soft oranges are hot on the runways for Spring 2016 collections too. We are definitely not going to miss these flattering colours that are so easy to wear.
Editor's tip: Wear it with just a thin line of eyeliner and a coat of mascara. Stay away from the heavy eyeliner and lion dance like falsies to keep the look light and feminine.

3. Red Lips
Let your lips do the talking. Red lips are always a classic and the bright red is big this season. Think Snow White's apple red lips.
Editor's tip: Keep eye makeup simple since your lips are taking the limelight. Reds have got many different undertones so remember to choose one that suits you. An orange red will suit a person with warmer skin tone, and a red with blue undertones will suit someone with a cooler skin tone.

4. Dark Lips
If red is too boring for you and you are seeking something edgier, go for dark lips this season. With a touch of goth and moodiness, the oxblood shade or a dark reddish purple is the best way to go.
Editor's tip: We are really loving the dark lips but dark lips aren't the easiest when it comes to application. Use a lip brush to outline your lips first before filling in your lips with colour. Keep eye makeup simple. Do not overdo your eye makeup with black goth-like shadow if you do not want to be mistaken for Morticia Addams.

5. Winged Eyeliner
As opposed to the droopy puppy-eye eyeliner that gave the doe-eye look, winged eyeliners are the to go look for this Spring. There is no need for the exagerrated cat woman eyes though, just a soft feline flick will do the trick.
Editor's tip: Use an eyeliner to draw your winged liner. Go over with a brown shadow just slightly above the eyeliner to soften the look.

6. Faux Freckles
We used to hide our freckles under tons of concealers but nowadays makeup artist are creating faux freckles on their models' faces for that sun-kissed look. Cute and natural as it may seem, we are, however, doubting the possibility of its poularity in Singapore, since we are still very much in love with the flawless skin look. But really, who knows, right?
