Hello everyone, the New Year is in and that’s when some of you realize Christmas and New Year are over. With it comes the back-to-work blues, long-lingering symptoms of “its 2016 already??”

Fear not – for great things are to come in 2016. Well, first and foremost it’d be the Valentine’s Day. It’s great isn’t it? A festival of romantic love, flowers and presents. The time of the year where the streets are filled with exceeding amount of love and affection. Speaking of that, I sure have an idea that I want to share with you all on how I’m planning to celebrate my Valentine’s Day.

Well, my ideal Valentine’s Day celebration is pretty simple. I would love having dinner with my boyfriend, preferably a romantic one (I mean…it should be since its Valentine’s Day). Regardless it’s dining out or having home cooked for celebration; both are equally appealing to me because it’s not about the place but the company. Oh gosh, it sounded so cheesy I know but that’s the truth.

If you asked me if I prefer between dining out or in more, I’d say an intimate V’s day evening at home with my significant other.

Why you ask?

Picture this scene; we planned the menu for the evening, head out shopping together for our ingredients, and finally preparing the meal together. Cooking whilst playing soft, romantic music setting the mood in the right pace. Dinner is served with both of us sitting opposite each other on the dining table, maybe with a cliché lit candle in between for the sake of it and start reminiscing the first day we met. *soft romantic music playing* followed by…
*snap!* I have no idea where I’m going with this but you get it, that’s the kind of intimate, simple and ideal celebration I have in mind.
