As we all know, it’s hard to implement new habits, but 2016 is the year of opportunity, so we’ve got some habits of successful people that you can master in just a few minutes!

#1 Visualization

Every successful person knows that visualization is the key to setting goals and focusing on success. It won’t take long to visualize where you want to be, you should start with a vision board and try to focus on what you want and how you’re going to get it.

#2 Money Management

Money management is hard, but doesn’t take long to master. Start by reading a few money smart books, downloading some apps and knowing what you should be looking at every day.

#3 Proper Planning

Buy a desk planner or get a Moleskine Notebook and some washi tape and start laying out your day. If you prefer a digital medium, we love Wunderlist for prioritizing our goals. Start with one thing you need to do every day and set a time limit.

#4 Speed Learning

You should aim to learn something new every day, reading the news or picking up a non-fiction book is a great way of keeping yourself in the know.

#5 Being Healthy

Although being healthy seems like a huge task, getting a few great healthy cookbooks in, preparing your meals, and aiming to do 15 minutes of high intensity training every other day will go a long way to getting you on track.

#6 Early Rising

Getting up early doesn’t have to be a pain. Start by waking up an hour (or half an hour) earlier than you normally would and try to get a smoothie for breakfast to give you an energy boost.

#7 Playing To Their Strengths

Playing to your strengths is a good way to stay on the road to success, working on your weaknesses and accepting the things you’ll never be good at is also essential. Try a personality test to figure out what you’re really good at.

#8 Networking

Networking is everybody’s biggest fear, but it doesn’t have to be. The more you attend networking events, the better you’ll be at them. Try to connect online when possible, showing your face is better than not turning up.
