See through bangs, or airy fringe, has been around for a couple of years and it was made popular by the Korean celebrities. However, Song Hye Kyo gave the see through bangs an upgrade and the new see through bangs is named "Ba Zi Liu Hai" (八字刘海）in Chinese, which is translated to mean "Number Eight Fringe". To clear the confusion, the "eight" refers to the Chinese character eight "八". The new see through "Number Eight Fringe" takes on a centre parting and is swept to both sides of the forehead from the centre, resembling the character "八". Think opened curtains if you may.
