Koreans can make anything trendy. From neoprene fashion to creating “dewy skin”, let’s just address skin issue with the wonders of Micro-Botox.

The Koreans are smart and practical people. Trends started by them, which have also spread to many corners of the world, are nothing but economical and weather-friendly. Their fashion and beauty trends are influenced by the everyday people. It allows us to look good even as we go about in our daily schedule.

Korean fashion: One size fits all

The practical and economical Korean fashion has led to many trends. One of them is the one-size-fits-all boxy tops; they fit anyone from size XS to L. What about the Neoprene tops and dresses? Not only are they en vogue, neoprene is a functional fabric due to its heat-insulating properties. What’s more, because they always look good no matter what the wearer does or where they go, the Koreans have managed to turn the practical material into fashion!

That is just fashion but what about their make-up?

Korean beauty: BB or CC creams

Their Blemish Bare (BB) or Colour Correct (CC) cushion compact make-up changed the cosmetics industry 360 degrees! It’s famous for their quick and easy application, and the ability to create the sought-after dewy, glowy skin. Thanks to the never-ending list of Korean A-list stars and their radiant skin, the Koreans managed to turn the shiny look that is the result of oxidisation of make-up in our Asian hot weather into something highly desirable. Isn’t that conveniently smart of those Koreans?

When the Koreans realised that beauty photo filters are making complexions appear flawless and matte, they made the semi-matte popular by making it a staple of Seoul Fashion Week 2015. It is a look that can be very easily applied by the many Insta-beauties who are uploading and sharing their selfies with the world daily – mostly with the help of photo-editing apps, not surprisingly.

Fixing oily skin with micro-botox

There is certainly no shortage of photo-editing apps. There are thousands of them around. However, whether you want to glamourise your skin condition with words like dewy, shiny or glowy, just call a spade a spade already!

Makeup and photo filters do not solve your oily skin condition nor will it fix any fine lines or pore issues that you already have in real life. Caking your oily skin with makeup encourages congestion. Why not “wear” your skin as it is? Healthy!

Intradermal-Botox or Micro-Botox is by no way micro or mini in its results. Also known as “baby-botox” in Hollywood, Micro-Botox is when diluted Botox is injected in very small doses on face areas such as the jawline, under-eye area, and cheeks.

Not only does Micro-Botox make your skin less oily with reduced pores, it also removes fine wrinkles, addresses inflammation or acne, refines skin texture, leaving you with a natural-looking mini facelift due to the tightening of the skin.

Overall, you will have a chiseled, poreless and powdered look anytime of the day!
