If you want the best out of your masking routine, it is time for you to try multi-masking.

What is multi-masking?

As its name suggests, multi-masking simply means using different masks at the same time to achieve the best treatment effect. As opposed to slathering one mask all over your face, let different areas of your face receive different treatments to target their needs with different masks. For example, you may want to use a cleansing mask on your nose and chin to unclog pores, but a hydrating mask on your cheeks and forehead for hydration. Get the drift?

How to multi-mask?

It is generally easier to use cream/gel masks for multi-masking. If you are using sheet masks, you will need to cut up the sheet masks, which I personally find it a hassle. Furthermore, you will need to find hygienic storage for the leftover sheet masks sections.

Apply your mask to your face either with your fingers or a brush, leave them on for a rough 20 - 30 mins and wash off. Continue with your usual skin regimen after that. Viola, done.
