The trend first started with Shayne Oliver at Hood By Air, and later on with Demna Gvasalia at Vetements. Just as we thought that all the inconvenience that extra long sleeves brought about will cause the trend to die down, it didn't. On the contrary, the extra long sleeves got bigger this fall.

I'm not sure if this trend will cause gloves to go obsolete in winter, but it sure does keep our cold hands warm when we travel to the cooler climates. But then again, with our obsessions with checking our smartphones very now and then, it sure is inconvenient having to pull up the sleeves all the time.
