Put across nicely, I am a very disciplined person. If I implement something on myself, say a fitness routine, I go all the way out to do it – following a strict Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday schedule. The nasty part of it? I get very upset at myself if I am unable to fulfil or sacrifice even one day due to unexpected circumstances. Extreme is an understatement. I have had close friends telling me that I had been too hard on myself. I have to agree, I was, and probably still am.
This is why I never want to make myself count calories because I would probably be such a jackass about it and make everyone's lives difficult.
If I don't count my calories, how do I make sure that my fitness attempts are fruitful?
Watch What I Put in My Mouth
This is the foundation to fixing the body! If I watch what I eat every day, it makes a whole lot of difference!
Example for a typical work day lunch: Choose yong tau foo over chicken rice. Learning to love eating what's healthy will be even easier to keep to a healthy diet. Click here to check out my Overnight Oats!
Get Myself Off The Work Desk Whenever I can
Work is never-ending! We have all heard how people tell us to take a 5-10 minutes break, walk around and do some stretching instead of sitting down at the desk throughout. It is true! You can sit 24 hours straight and still have work, but remember, your boss doesn't own your health or thank you if you die from working. While moving around doesn't really keep me really fit and slim, the improved blood circulation contributes.

Utilize The Gym When I Go For A Staycation
I don't waste my entire day away by plonking myself on the bed, chips and carbonated drinks with movies marathon. I assigned an hour to gym and reward myself with a nice dinner. I deserve it and I eat without feeling the guilt!
Although I am not as fit as many other girls, it is my dream to have defined abs. That would require a lot of hardwork and I have since compromised with myself that if it is not realistic to achieve that, I should at least have a toned body. ;-)
