Seeing your family members suffer from cancer would be one of the most devastating thing ever. Day by day, their body will get weaker and weaker, skinnier and skinnier. But there’s nothing you can do, you can only go through this painful process with them till their last breath.
We have heard so many cases of cancer, and we should know by now that cancer is a leading cause of death worldwide, and there are many times cancer could be prevented.
There are cases where people recovered fully from these nasty cancerous cells, and some recovered and have gotten a relapse afterwards. We also have the not so lucky ones, when they found out, they have only got a few months left to live and are literally just waiting for death to come by.
My granny was the not so lucky one, she passed away 9 months after knowing she was down with pancreatic cancer. I would say pancreatic cancer is one of the worst kind of cancer a person can get. Before she passed away, she was bed ridden and her tumor grew really huge as if she was 9 months pregnant. Witnessing the whole process, when she got hospitalized, gotten the news that she had pancreatic cancer and till her last breath, was never a pleasant experience.
So how could we prevent cancer? I have always believed that it is a must to go for yearly checkup no matter what, and I understand that there might be some that are not so well to do, there is something called the stool test where you are able to know what is wrong with your body. I also understand the older generation does not like to go for check ups because when they find out that they have got too high cholesterol level, diabetes, low/high blood pressure and such they will have to change their lifestyle, so if given the chance they will try their very best to avoid.
But we are not helping them at all, if we are able to know the root of the problem earlier, it would be so easy for us to cure and find solutions!
Knowing of such available services around us, we have to utilize it fully in order to be healthier and be able to take care of our family members! If you have family members that are above 40, it would be best if they go for yearly check ups!
Please do not wait till the very last minute to find solutions for it. Cherish your life, cherish your family members, go for your check up.
Say no to cancer, say yes to spending more time with your loved ones.
