When it comes to Japan, there are endless things we want to do. And when I say endless it's seriously ENDLESS! I don't stay in Japan nor do I speak any Japanese apart from the basics. But there is something about Japanese culture that lures me into that endless crave to want to experience more. And given a holiday destination to choose, it's got to be Japan for me. Seriously, I ain't joking. My siblings, my family, my friends, everyone wants to go to Japan. I'm lucky I got to go Japan this year and to really live the dream in reality when my dad decided to go to HOKKAIDO and of course Tokyo for a family getaway ヽ(*・ω・)ノ And since there is too much to write about Japanese culture, I'll just summarise my favourite part of Japanese culture in 2 parts for this trip.

1. EVERYTHING IS KAWAII (CUTE)

If you think cute things are only for kids? Well, you are TOTALLY WRONG in Japan. Japanese live their world around cute things and cute things make people happy. So if you set foot in Japan, dare to be cute and appreciate KAWAII.

It's not like you have Yeo's or Pokka or other ABC brand. In Japan, they have TONS OF BRANDS! Not only brands are endless, the type of drinks they have to offer are endless too! Hot to cold. Soda to health drinks. And guess what? They have a wide selection of Non-alcoholic beers for people quitting these bad vibes. So thoughtful of them uh? Every little thought you have magically comes into creative invention in the Japanese minds. And to be honest, I'm spoilt for choice there.

2. TO-GO DRINKS ARE ENDLESSSSSSSS

And to be honest, I'm spoilt for choices there.

3. FRUITS THAT TASTE LIKE HEAVEN

Farmers in Japan take pride in whatever they grow. And with this care for quality assurance, their harvest are like their report cards. The sweetness of this melon I got from a fruit vendor at Shinjuku that is 300yen per slice is SUPER DOPE! In Hokkaido, a very premium piece cost from 300 yen~600yen per slice and the sweetness and juiciness is way beyond description! Really OIIIISSSHIIIII(*/▽\*)~~

4. PASTRIES THAT LOOK NICE AND TASTE NICE!

I got to give it to the Japanese for not deceiving customers with pretty pictures in the menu. Because whatever that is gonna be presented on your table will look exactly like what it is on the menu. And looking nice doesn't mean it tastes good right? In Japan, look and taste go hand in hand, and this Palbo cheese cake I am eating taste like LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT! My mum and I can feel the taste of blissfulness and I could see sparkle in our eyes when we put that small piece into our mouth. I'm not kidding. IT'S REALLY VERY NICE!

5. CONVENIENCE STORE IS YOUR FRIEND

You name it, 7-11, Family Mart, Lawson, they will be your buddy in Japan. They serve you very very decent to-go food. And I love their onigiri, they are some good inexpensive to-go food I must say. You can get fried rice, soba, sandwich, fried noodles and oden too! You'll never ever go starving in Japan, seriously.
