Hello there!
2016 has been nothing but less than eventful. I am not talking about whatever bloggers events or so, but of life and its ups and downs. It has been tiring, but I know all these are part and parcel of life. I am not so sure if I am glad that 2016 is coming to an end but let's pick out the best of it? ;-)
The Achievement
I managed to finish off the ukulele course that I've been wanting to take. 3 months went by in a flash and I learnt so much more in that 90 days than the 1 year I've owned my ukuleles. No regrets! I am hoping that I can set aside more time to practice and if my schedule allows, I might want to enrol in the intermediate class!
Being Thankful
I am thankful for the friends who stay and for those who left because you guys make me even more sure who are the true ones! I've also gotten so much love from my doggy friends! Be it BabyChia or friends' dogs, they all made me feel like I am their bestest human friend on earth!
I am also blessed because 2016 sees a "revival" of opportunities for the blog. From sponsorship to features and recently, a video and blog project.
I am greatly reminded why I stick to blogging after so many years. I may not have 10, 20k followers like many others, but the photos you see on my social media are captures of my life and things that make me happy, make me want to remember it. These, I would love to share with you.
The Fitness Goal
Although achieving rock-hard six pack is much harder than you think it is, I jumped at every chance I have to workout. And from December onwards, I promise myself to work harder, get leaner and also to get back my muscle mass!
Decision to Leave
I made the decision to leave my job after a long consideration. I figured that I need time to rest, build back my health since I didn't see any learning opportunities or career progression. The day I tendered my resignation, I heaved a breath of relief and instantly felt the heart tugging much lesser.
Be daring, be inspired – even if it's a lulu pose. ;-p
Goodbye 2016, please make 2017 a even better one!
With love,
