Discreet Exercises to Do While You Wait in Line

From the “historical” millennium queue for Hello Kitty plushies to the recent crazy queue for BAKE cheese tarts, it isn’t hard to tell that we Singaporeans spend a lot of time in line. But, that doesn’t mean waiting time should be time wasted. Tone your muscles as you queue with these exercises.

Shoulder Blades Pull

Think of pinching your shoulder blades together, then releasing. Do as many times as you like.

 

Ankle Rolls

Feeling the strain after queuing for 10 minutes? Do yourself a favour, by rolling out your ankles to loosen the muscles surrounding your joints. You'll also be able to sprint home much easier after you finish queuing!

 

Calf Raise

Balance on your toes, and raise your heels as high as you can. You should feel a stretch in your calf muscles if you’re doing it right.

 

Butt Clench

Clench your butt, while standing on tip toes. Hang in the position for 10 seconds, and lower yourself back down.
