The ZALORA Style Awards is an initiative aimed at developing and profiling the front-runners from across the fashion industry. Through ZALORA Style Awards, ZALORA aimed to contribute to the growth of the fashion industry by recognising inspiring individuals and their work, as well as to establish and celebrate Asia as a fashion hub. ZALORA Style Awards was also held in Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia, Taiwan and Hong Kong.

The winners were selected by a panel of five notable industry personalities who formed the judging committee for the ZALORA Style Awards. They were: Ginette Chittick, Fashion Programme Leader and Lecturer at LASALLE College of the Arts and fashion entrepreneur; Sofia Wakayabashi, international model; Darren Ho, Managing Editor of Augustman; Nat Ho, singer/actor and Rayne Reed, Head of Private Labels for ZALORA.

In conjunction with ZALORA’s 5th Anniversary, ZALORA collaborated with the Judges to launch a creative campaign titled #ZALORAICONS, a series of original video content showcasing their creative inspirations and favourite fashion tips and hacks. Launched across multiple channels, including ZALORA website and social media platforms, the videos also give viewers access to exclusive interviews with the line-up of local tastemakers. The campaign was featured on ZALORA website prior to the ZALORA Style Awards event along with curated shoppable content so customers will be able to own the looks inspired by the ZALORAICONS. Fans were also encouraged to join in the conversation by sharing on social media an item from ZALORA that is considered iconic to them with the hashtag #ZALORAICONS.

Attendees included local and regional media personalities, such as Wykidd Song, fashion designer; Cheryl Chou, Valerie Lim, Rathi Menon - Miss Universe Singapore, celebrity/host and Muzakkir Hallif, model, Daniel Boey - Creative Director/ Fashion Show Producer. Social media stars such as Ellie Tan, Georgina Foo were also among the attendees. The event was organised in collaboration with Aura, Wyndham Asia, UOB Lady’s Card, CLEO, Augustman, Dorothy Perkins, L’oreal and Hanz De Fuko.
