The ultimate nightmare is to walk out of the house with perfect hair and makeup but having the sudden downpour destroy everything.

According to NEA, wet weather conditions will persist for the first two weeks of July. We can't really control the weather but we can change our beauty routine to make rainy days less of a hassle (think racoon eyes and streaky foundation).
Here are some tips for us to survive the next two weeks of wet weather.
1. Opt for natural eye makeup
Go for eyeshadows in natural and lighter shades. We don't really want the rain to ruin our smoky eyes because that will be a hassle to clean off and to touch up. If you have a choice, choose a matte eyeshadow instead of anything with glitter to avoid any mess.

2. Consider eyelash extensions
Mascaras may smudge and fake eyelashes may fall off when the rain splatters onto your face. In this case, eyelash extensions are definitely a good investment to open up your peepers.

3. Pick waterproof products
Saying this just made me Miss Captain Obvious. Need we say more?
4. Add these items into your makeup pouch
Besides your usual makeup products that you bring along with you, pack some makeup wipes, Q-tips, and perhaps a small Beauty Blender or sponge in your makeup pouch. It will make cleaning up any smudges a breeze, and help you do your touch ups easily.

5. Choose a weather-proof hairdo
Instead of letting your hair down and let the strong wind blow them all over your face, and let heavy rain wet it and mess it up, why not go for a weather-proof hairstyle? Put it into a top knot, a ponytail, or braid it into different styles to look stylish even in the bad weather.
