Most office ladies carry a makeup pouch with some essential items for touchups throughout the day, or before an important client meeting.

We were curious to know what exactly are the beauty products that each of us think are essentials and why. Therefore, we went around the office asking to take a peep into each makeup pouch. Most of us do carry one, except for a handful of ladies who do not put on any makeup to work (and yes, they have flawless skin, how jealous can we get, tsk!).
Which one are you? Are you a minimalist who has got only 2 or 3 items with you? Or someone who always lugs her whole makeup collection along?

Let me start with myself first to get the ball rolling. My essential products in my pouch change everyday, depending on the look I choose every morning. My oil blotting paper and sebum powder are my must-haves because I have a very oily face. If I don't dab the oil away, pimples will definitely appear by the end of the day. I also keep a few hair rubber bands and hairpins with me all the time in case my hair got messed up or I suddenly decide to tie my hair up on a hot day. My colleagues always know who to go to when they need a pin or a hair rubber band!

E'leen specifically told us to focus on her pouch and her charm instead of her makeup because she is known to love everything cute. She always has at least 3 lipsticks with her so that she can pick any colour she wants to go with the outfit as she doesn't leave the house with any lipstick on. Unlike other girls who bring along a mascara, E'leen has an eyelash serum because she is trying to grow her short lashes and she swears by it.

Definitely a minimalist when it comes to makeup, Lucinda only has 4 items with her, all slotted into the side pocket of her bag, without a pouch. She applies her base and eye makeup at home and sees no need to touch up those throughout the day. She has a darker lipstick and lighter lip tint with her so that she can choose from either one depending on her mood. And looking at her perfume and breath spray, we finally know her secret to smelling good all day!

Vivian rarely has any makeup on but leaves her makeup pouch on her desk for emergencies. In fact, out of all the makeup products she has in her pouch, she only uses the primer, cushion foundation, and her blusher. Pretty much a minimalist but we would suggest that she throws away her unused or expired products.

Eunice is known for her 10 mins morning rush to leave the house for work and with that short amount of time, she only has time for some BB cream. We were wondering why she needs 6 lip colours and 3 eyeliners and 2 eyebrow products and Eunice said that she just leaves them in the pouch and they are always there when she needs some makeup for emergencies. Besides, the few pencil lip colours she has can also double up as cheek colours. It is pretty amazing how she can squeeze so many items into that one mini makeup pouch.

Maybeline loves lipsticks and that, of course, is the most important product for her. She always says that adding some lip colour will brighten her up immediately. She will always have a concealer with her her to conceal her birthmark, and because she has got frizzy hair, she always makes sure that she has a comb and some hair oil with her.
