Seoul's international textile fair, Preview in Seoul 2017, took place at COEX Hall A and E, and Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas last week.

With a total of 388 exhibitors showcasing textiles, machinery, fashion apparels and accessories, Preview in Seoul 2017 opened with a bang on 28th August, attracting business and brands all over the world to connect with one another.

This year's theme of Remix # Reset centred on regenerating the classics and the vintage, renewing our origins and cultural roots into new designs, and remaking a fantasy world from prevailing fashion trends like gender neutrality, decadence, and dark romance.

The many innovations we saw the exhibition further the fashion industry into the new era. We see an abundance of eco and sustainable fabrics coming forward to reduce carbon footprint, technological innovations in apparel making with new machines, and even phone apps to bridge the gap between businesses and consumers for accurate body measurements online.

The trend forum that was situated in the middle of the COEX expo halls displayed the new fabric trends and colour predictions for 2018, and various fashion brands put together fashion shows to showcase their new collections for the next season.

Interested parties can also register for the seminars held over the 3 days exhibition, with wide ranging topics like Korean fashion trends forecast, presentation of innovative fabric types, and 2018 evolving consumer trends.

A total of 131 foreign companies took part in the exhibition this year, making Preview in Seoul an excellent touchpoint for B2B or B2C interactions.
