Do you belong to the squad who love rolling around in your office swivel chair and scooting past cubicles to irritate the hell out of your colleagues, or the desk potato sect? Regardless of which “cult”, you are in, we dare say the ISU1 Endurance Race is definitely for you!
Hailing from Kyotonabe-Shi (Kyoto), the ISU1 (isu or 椅子 means chair in Japanese) relay will be held at our humble shores for the very first time on 4th November 2017. For the desk potatoes, this race is indeed a good idea to break free from your sedentary lifestyle. In case you didn’t know prolonged sitting in front of your computer can increase your risk of certain diseases. While the fun seekers can look forward to a great bonding time with your colleagues while doing your favourite swirling move!
All you have to do is to form your gilding team (3 people per team) and be prepare to glide ferociously for a rolling good time like those in the video below.

The relay will be divided into 2 categories- Category 1 (90 minutes) and Category 2 (30 minutes). In order to decide which category the teams will go to, all the teams will need to participate in the qualifying round, sending one representative to compete in the 30 metres race.
The best 30 teams will then compete in the 90-minute relay, while the remaining groups contest against each other in the 60-minute race. In order to be the winner, the team should aim to complete the highest number of laps in the specific time given.
The winning team from Category 1 will be entitled to $600 Scoot vouchers and 3X3 months Triplefit Membership (Worth $1800). While the winning team for Category 2 can look forward to walking away with $300 Scoot vouchers and the same amount of membership from Triplefit.
