K-pop artiste, Holland, debuted yesterday as the first openly gay star with his new music video "Neverland".
The music video portrays the ups and downs in a relationship between the lovers with Holland's melodic voice in the background and it has since racked up over 1 million views in 24 hours.
Korea still takes a pretty conservative view when it comes to same-sex relationships, and the kiss in Holland's "Neverland" music video has earned the video a 19+ rating. However, many see this as a milestone in the K-pop industry and support is coming in from all over social media with the hashtag #HollandDebutDay.

Yes, this is important. Yes, the LGBTQ+ community is being represented in a beautiful way. Yes, this will inspire others to be brave enough to be themselves, whatever that may be. #HollandDebutDay
