High above in the blue yonder in the land of Etude House, birds were singing merrily as they went about collecting cotton clouds to be used as ingredients for the many miracle beauty cures the land is known for.
One evening, a little furry rabbit hopped and skipped under the fading light, he stumbled over a big piece of fallen tree branch. Upon closer inspection, he discovered that it was actually a little girl!
He noticed that her lips were pale and the colour had run from her skin. Her slow breathing indicated that she was still alive, perhaps in a deep slumber. The rabbit noticed a flower with thorny stem in her clutches, which he managed to gently pry away. He gave it a quick sniff and violently threw it to the ground. That flower was so offensive that the grass it landed on started dying and turned to dust!
The flower must have been the evil queen’s creation and attempt at trying to replicate the roses found throughout Etude House but instead of rejuvenating and charming, this one was meant to destroy!
A wise old owl flew over at the beckoning of its white furry friend and concocted a cure. Gently, he peered over the girl and dabbed the mixture onto her lips.
As if by magic, colour started to come back to her lips and she opened her eyes! All the animals that were present were awed and struck by the transformation.
Standing before them was a girl as immaculate and beautiful worthy of any kingdom. Indeed, the magical cure had transformed the girl into a princess! It was almost as if witnessing the full bloom of a rose!
Her lips were moist and lustrous from the sheer butter extract and rose oil extract. So rich with vivid pigments but yet they look so gentle and tender like her cotton-soft skin and infectious sweet smile…
Soon at the instruction of the owl, the animals began to apply the mixture on every blade of grass, trees and plants.
The owl made more and experimented with different colours. The land’s end once a dark place has transformed into a beautiful and fertile land with vibrant coloured roses, just like the girl whose lips are now of velvety soft texture and rich rosy colour.
The missing ingredient the squirrel whispered according to the wise old owl, was the enchanting pure red rose called the ‘&Rose’.
And they all lived happily ever after…
Do you like the fairytale of &Rose?
It is not entire a fairytale if the facts are true! &Rose Rosy Tint Lips are very pigmented and rich!
Etude house is one of my favourite makeup brands in the market. And this collection did not dissapoint! Especially the Rosy Tint Lips.
Velvet cream type tint with innovative sponge tip… The heroine product of this fall collection, Rosy Tint Lips, provides the velvety soft texture and rich rosy colour like a petal with a unique sponge tip in tube which can achieve different ways to express variety of lip point make-up from full stain to gradient lips.
8 colours to choose from!
I can't read Korean so I am not very sure of their exact names. But they have numbers on the packaging to help me differentiate.
Colour swatches for Rosy Tint Lips. Which are your favourites? I picked 2 colours of the Rosy Tint Lips and did 2 different looks using them.
I am using No.5 for this first look. Love the very sweet shade of pink.
I created another look using Rosy Tint Lips No. 1. It is a very nice shade of red!
Rosy Tint Lips leaves a velvety finish on the lips with no greasy shine.
I was so spoilt with choices with so many pretty rose shades to choose from and to create different princess looks with!

Etude House & Rose Flowering Nails No.2
Rosy nail kit for that complete blossom. Delicate finish on fingertips with Real fabric sticker provided for the classic victorian manicure!
These 2 rosy nail kit comes with clear-textured nail colours and fabric lace stickers. I am very bad at painting my own nails because whenever I do that, I will end up with clumpy and messy nail colours.
I am already bad at painting one colour, so I was quite nervous when I tried to create rosy gradient nails with lace stickers with Etude House & Rose Flowering Nails No.1.
But hey presto! Look!
Not too bad right? I did it and I love it! What sweet nails I have now.
How to paint:
I couldn't understand the Korean instructions behind the box so I did the best I could.
1) I first painted Dewy Rose on my entire nail and let it dry.
2) Paint Rosy Blossom from the middle of the nail downwards to the tip.
3) Add another coating of Rosy Blossom at the tip of the nails to intensify the colour so that there will be a gradient effect.
4) Choose a sticker the size of the nail you want it on.
5) Pasted it down on your nails, then cut or buff away the excess from the tip.
6) Paint on your favourite top coat.
Ta-da! That simple. If I can do it, you can too!
This series of Etude House products is so much love with the pretty packaging and great quality. I am going to explore more of the colours!
