In case you have not heard, DBS Marina Regatta returns this May to The Promontory@ Marina Bay! This year's festival doubles the fun by spanning across two weekends (26th to 27th May, and 2nd to 3rd June) and promises to bring a rush of adrenaline and heaps of fun to the Bay. Regardless of fitness aficionados, aspiring health enthusiasts or families looking for some fun (even shopping divas), there's something for everyone!

Here are some highlights of the event that our team is anticipating:

Battle Bay Extreme

For the first time, DBS partners with Under Armour (American sports brand) to introduce Southeast Asia’s biggest land and water obstacle challenge- Battle Bay Extreme. A total of three levels- Initiate (Beginner), Intense (Intermediate) and Insane (Advanced) are available for adrenaline junkies to push their limit and test their will to pull through.  Besides the great fun, all participants can look forward to receiving fabulous prizes such as TripleFit retail vouchers and complimentary class pass in the finisher pack. Find out more here.

Fret not if you think you’re not cut out for extreme sports. Just participate in one of the free workout classes organised by Pure Yoga and Pure Fitness to calm your mind and soul. From Vinyasa yoga, Hatha yoga, Zumba to post-workout recovery sessions, you will be burning calories in no time. Check out the schedule here.

Celebrity Challenge

For those “anti-exercise” individuals, we say sit back and watch the celebrity-led teams featuring the likes of Joseph Schooling, national sailors- Griselda Khng and Olivia Chen, along with ambassadors from TripleFit and Pure Fitness as they conquer the Battle Bay Extreme and compete for the championship.

Creators Market

This year festival also includes the Creators Market (in partnership with Mahota), where the public can get to learn about green living and holistic wellness through a range of engaging hands-on workshops and sharing sessions. We heard that one of the workshops include making superfood snacks and acai bowls (Oh man! We’re excited already). Besides the workshops, wholesome and nutritious snacks will also be going on sales at the market.
