Snoopy Themed Hotel Debuts in Japan This August!

Kudos to the Japanese! Other than the range of superheroes (Gundam and Ultraman), anime (One Piece and Evangelion) and adorable “animals” themed hotels, future visitors to Japan can look forward to another new hotel- Peanuts Hotel.

Set to open on 1^st August 2018 in downtown Kobe (online reservations start on 9^th July, 10 am), the hotel follows the concept of “It’s nice to have a home where your guests feel comfortable.” With 6 stories overflowing with characters from the well-known comic strip, we say it’s indeed a dream come true for every Peanuts’ fan.

Besides being a wonderful venue for a good night of rest, the hotel also serves as a great dining place for the foodies. Situated on the first floor is the Peanuts Café, where mouth-watering mains such as Lucy’s Honey Lemonade Salad (¥ 1260), Meatball with Tomato Sauce (¥ 1260), Nest of Woodstock (Fries and Mini Corn Dog, ¥ 980) and Goose Eggs Sliders (¥ 1800) can be found. Those with a sweet tooth can look forward to the Grilled Marshmallow Latte (¥ 800), Harriet’s Angel Food Cake (¥ 950), Cherry Pie (¥ 880) and many more.

Hotel stayers can find the restaurant- Peanuts Diner on the third floor, and expect to find unique character dishes and desserts including Peanut’s Gang Baseball Hamburg Salad Set (¥ 2500), Joe Cool’s Seafood Neapolitan Slider Set (¥ 2100), Peggy Jean’s Apple Pie (¥ 850) and Soda Fountain (¥ 800).

The remaining floors contain the 18 coveted rooms that are constructed around different themes, including “Imagine” (4th storey), “Happy” (5th storey) and “Love” (6th storey). Oh, did we mention that each of the room will be decorated with a different comic? Yay!

Each night’s stay at the Peanuts Hotel costs around ¥ 30,000 (~SGD 370) and includes a hearty breakfast at Peanuts Diner. All we could say is, we are definitely adding the hotel to our itinerary for our future trip to Japan!
