Marc Jacobs still had one more fabulous trick up his sleeve: a stunning Spring 2014 ad campaign with an all-star cast of models and personalities.

We thought Marc Jacobs went out with a bang with his final runway show for Louis Vuitton in Paris in October. However, he still had one more fabulous trick up his sleeve: a stunning Spring 2014 ad campaign with an all-star cast of models and personalities.

In his show notes for fall, he called out a slew of powerful female muses to whom the collection was a tribute. Thus, the ad campaign features gorgeous portraits by Steven Meisel of some of those inspiring ladies, including Sofia Coppola, Catherine Deneuve, Gisele Bündchen, Fan Bingbing, Caroline de Maigret and Edie Campbell.

Likely due to the company’s recent focus on its luxury accessories business, the campaign centers around the Noé bag, which features an of-the-moment bucket shape. Each model holds a different version of the bag that sort of corresponds to her personality. While Deneuve’s is covered in luxe feathers, Coppola’s (my personal favorite) is clean and simple.

This is definitely the most excited we’ve been about an ad campaign in a while. And, at the same time, we’re a little sad that this Jacobs’s final stamp on Louis Vuitton. How great would an accompanying film be? Fingers crossed.
