At the recent Consumer Electronics Show, sex toy company OhMiBod launched the blueMotion Massager, which is basically a vibrating panty liner that connects via Bluetooth to the user’s smartphone.

In addition, to being able to control the speed and intensity of the vibration, the blueMotion Massager also allows users to set the vibration to a particular recorded message or song—its potential use in sexting is quite easily apparent.

While some people have dubbed it “smart underwear”, others saw it as the latest in a line of gimmicky products in the sex toy industry.

This newest addition to a growing collection of “wearable tech”, the blueMotion Massager would be retailing for US$129 in March 2014.
