LADY GAGA is favouring a design by DONATELLA VERSACE. The singer asked the fashion queen to create a gown made with black and gold silk with diamonds sewn into the bodice. She also wants a removable skirt and train which can be converted into another gown for the ceremony – tipped to be held this summer.

Lady Gaga will reportedly wear a Donatella Versace dress on her wedding to ‘Vampire Diaries’ star Taylor Kinney. The wedding is rumoured to take place this summer.

Gaga, known for her bizarre fashion statements, wants her D-day attire to be different from the traditional white.

The pop star, who has been with Kinney since September 2011, is reportedly keen on a design by the Italian designer, and wants her to create a black and gold silk gown with diamonds in the bodice.

“Gaga’s spending millions on her wedding to Taylor Kinney and Donatella Versace’s designing a typically over-the-top dress which on its own will cost thousands,” femalefirst.co.uk quoted a source as saying.

“She thinks white is cheesy and wants black and gold silk with all these crazy removable bits,” the source added.

The extra bits include a removable skirt and train, which would then be converted into a separate gown for the ceremony.

The 26-year-old star and Kinney have had trouble finding time for the wedding because of the singer’s hectic schedule. But a likely break from recording and touring should allow a date to be set for the summer.
