Let’s discuss the ABCs or rather the BB, CC, DD and EE creams!
BB stands for Blemish Balm and BB cream is usually applied before wearing make-up to cover any blemishes.
CC is for Color Control and it helps to blend and even the skin tone prior to make-up application.
The DD in DD cream stands for Dynamic Do-All. As its name suggests, the DD cream can be practically used for everything from a foundation to a blending agent.
Finally, the EE cream. EE stand for Extra Exfoliating and is primarily used when washing the face. It’s a mousse that is used in conjunction with a cleanser to allow better exfoliation.
Now that we’ve gotten the alphabets of creams out of the way, let’s focus on the CC cream. The cream was created and developed in Korea and is acknowledged as an improved version of the BB cream. It retains the skincare benefits of BB cream with added nourishing ingredients. This provides more effective skin coverage. There are a wide range of available CC creams in the market. One of them is the Rachel K CC Renew Cream.
The person behind the Rachel K brand is locally-born former Miss Universe Singapore 2009, Rachel Kum.
