Animal rescue organization Dallas Pets Alive! has come up with a very creative way to advocate the adoption of pets that have been left behind by their former owners.

To help their rescue dogs find new homes, they have collaborated with agency Dieste to launch “Muttbombing” on Instagram—this fun social media campaign involves puppies that photobombs selfies.

By inserting pictures of real-life dogs that are up for adoption into selfies found on the photo-sharing app, they hope to show a different side to these adorable pets—each digitally manipulated photo also comes with a witty caption that has been made to sound like it has been written by the canine photobomber itself.

In addition to “infiltrating” the pictures of regular people, the selfies of celebrities like Kim Kardashian and Miley Cyrus have also been “muttbombed”.
