We have seen how Koreans started the trend of having thick and fuzzy eyebrows known to be part of the Ulzzang look but little did you know that the Westerners have also hopping into the same fashion bandwagon?
Now, model du jour Cara Delevingne is inspiring eyebrow envy everywhere, including top celebrities such as Emma Watsons, Lily Collins, and Rita Ora.
As Emma Watson's trusted brow guru, Jigna Soni of Blink Brow Bar advises, the key is to put the arch in the right place. How do you find yours? By slanting a pencil from the bridge of your nose to your iris.
However she cautioned to be careful when removing hairs - a bad brow-tweeze can take much longer to recover from than a bad haircut.
Brow expert Lisa Potter-Dixon of the Carainspired beauty further added that thicker is always better but further added that although trends change, your face shape still remains the same so you should opt for a look that suits you. This means that the ‘Cara Delevingne eyebrows’ are not for everyone.
I was never a fan of thick eyebrows and neither do I like thin eyebrows (a sign of overplucking!) The thickness of the eyebrows, as advised by Potter-Dixon should follow your face shape and be proportionate to it.
But eyebrow transplants, would you do it?
Claire Culverwell, 30, said that 14 years of extreme tweezering had permanently damaged her appearance. And how much did she spend on the new brows? She spent £3,500 on an EYEBROW transplant after over-plucking left her with just a few hairs.
Would you consider eyebrow transplants?
