To celebrate its ongoing partnership with Audi Fashion Festival Singapore, kikki.K has collaborated with students at LASALLE College Of The Arts to bring bespoke fashion designs to life.
Winning designs chosen by kikki.K founder, Kristina Karlsson will be showcased in kikki.K’s ION store window and onsite at AFF, 14-18 May.
Diploma in Fashion Students at LASALLE College Of The Arts were challenged to design a conceptual fashion outfit that incorporated the graphics and colours of kikki.K’s new Confetti Collection, and kikki.K founder, Kristina Karlsson said the work was nothing short of amazing. “We were so excited to have LASALLE Diploma in Fashion Students incorporate our special kikki.K project into their curriculum. I’ve always loved seeing kikki.K designs printed on fabrics, and to see an entire room of fun, unique designs was such an amazing feeling!”, she said.
Just like great fashion, kikki.K designs evolve from boundless creativity, insipred by trends in colour, print and materials, making the collaboration with LASALLE students a perfect synergy, and a great
opportunity to showcase upcoming designers and celebrate kikki.K’s partnership with Audi Fashion Festival.
For the project, students were given the designs of kikki.K’s new party and crafting collection, Confetti to design and create with. After working in pairs on the kikki.K brief for just four weeks, two winning design duos were chosen by kikki.K founder Kristina Karlsson to be showcased as part of the AFF partnership celebrations.
The design of Wu Yanling and Lin Bihan forms part of a bespoke window display in kikki.K’s flagship store at ION Orchard from May 8, and the design of Zheng Jing Jing and Eric Zhu can be seen up close on site at the Audi Fashion Festival tent
from May 14. If you spot the bespoke pieces out and about, be sure to take a snap and share the #KIKKIKFASHION with your friends and followers.
