Inspiration hit Adren How as he spotted a market gap while observing his mother’s spa business.
While beauty salons and spas lacked the expertise to operate advanced equipment, the invasive nature of clinical treatments brought inconvenience to consumers. Adren saw the opportunity to fill in the gap by opening a centre fully focused on aesthetics.
Being up to date with the latest technologies was an added advantage, his experience in medical aesthetics distribution and organising medical conferences allowed him to appreciate how technology simplified traditional spa treatments. With firm believe in the demand for aesthetic treatments and the benefits of new technology, Adren founded the ONLY Group and is currently the Managing Director of the group.
Started in 2006 with a modest team of four, the group has since grown to a 35-strong team with five outlets. Under Adren’s guidance, ONLY has expanded from focusing on aesthetic business to an expansive range of product lines such as sports performance & recovery treatments and pain management. While solidifying ONLY’s leadership in the distribution market, Adren launched several concept clinic chains.
In 2013, ONLY introduced the first in Asia “Absolute Zero” whole body cryotherapy – a breakthrough medical treatment using cold liquid nitrogen to help fight pain and induce recovery and aesthetic benefits. The latest O Medical Clinic opening May 2014 features in- house doctors and aims to target the burgeoning medical tourism sector in Singapore. The clinic concept boutique will also be launched in Jakarta, Indonesia in July 2014.
Adren firmly believes consumers have the capacity to make their own decisions and is against the hard selling method. He aims to provide consumers with necessary information to make well- informed decisions. ONLY aims to build a credible and sustainable brand by turning satisfied customers into brand advocates.

The ONLY Group is currently looking at regional expansion with its first regional outlet launching by the end of 2014.
