Hollywood actress Blake Lively has launched her foray into the world of lifestyle blogging and curating with her website Preserve.
"Part magazine, part e-commerce hub, part philanthropic endeavor," Preserve features a selection of American crafts and artisanal products, ranging from jewelry and candles to sauces and preserves.
"Everyone has a story to tell," writes the movie star in her editor's letter. "This idea is the cornerstone of Preserve.
"So here at Preserve there are people, stories, essays, videos and goods which hopefully inspire your home, your style and your tongue.
She adds: "We may romanticize it, calling it treasure. What we're really saying is, we see worth on every level."
Lively has avoided marketing the venture as a lifestyle blog and has actively denied that the aim is to dish out advice on "the perfect life", but the site has naturally drawn comparisons with Goop, the one-stop shop for healthy living tips, shopping and recipes run by another Hollywood star Gwyneth Paltrow.
Preserve is also hot on the heels of other famous ventures full of celebrity lifestyle tips, including the American chef and domestic stalwart Martha Stewart's site and ventures such as Quarterly which see stars such as Pharrell Williams curate a selection of design and lifestyle products which are sent to your home.
