The success Singapore will soon have its version of the successful Taiwan’s top beauty and fashion infotainment show, Lady First (女人我最大). In collaboration between StarHub TV, TVB and its Taiwanese arm TVBS, the 13 episode local version made its debut 3 days ago on E City (StarHub TV Channel 111/825).
At a media conference held at Marina Bay Sands Hotel recently, the event hosted by Peifen from 93.3FM announced that the Singapore version of the magazine show promises useful insights into the world of beauty and fashion injected with a local flavor.
Amongst the popular personalities present include celebrated host Pauline Lan 蓝心湄, Taiwanese stylist Xiao Kai小凱, four local stylists Bryan Gan, Clarence Lee, Keith Png and Ken Hong and a 10-member ladies team made up of local female personalities; who will give their take on the latest beauty products and fashion trends in the market and doubling up as models for the stylists on the programme.
Similar to Taiwan’s Lady First, the brands of featured products on Lady First - Singapore will be masked out on TV. Viewers however, can find out more about the featured products via a specially set-up microsite at www.starhub.com/ladyfirstsg where they can chat and interact with others in a forum and browse through the site’s photo and video galleries to keep abreasts of updates.
Exclusive webisodes not shown on air will also be available on the microsite and for those who missed an episode; the microsite offers video clips on key highlights of each episode.
The programme will be made available on StarHub TV Anywhere (www.starhubtvanywhere.com) for viewers to catch the programme on the move.
StarHub Entertainment Facebook Page, Instagram and Twitter will show ”live” updates from on-ground events including publicity stunts where fans can follow the official hashtag #ladyfirstsg to join in discussion or share their thoughts.
In addition, StarHub will also dedicate a YouTube channel which will house all StarHub-related video clips to enable viewers to check out Lady First – Singapore’s trailers and video in just one click.
A second screen app featuring Lady First – Singapore, where viewers can log in via their Facebook accounts to access additional content that complements the programme in real time, as well as access Instagram for participitation in weekly contests and quizzes will also be launched by Starhub.
