In April 2015, it was announced that the Summit Trail leading to the top of Bukit Timah Hill would reopen to the Public on weekends. Adventurers can now once again make the ascent up Bukit Timah Hill. Even kids as young as four have been spotted braving the steep slopes of Bukit Timah Hill and taking on the vertical challenge.

3. Singapore Science Centre

The Singapore Science Centre is one of the best places to hang out for the kids. There is so much to see and learn and explore that each of our trips felt too short to see and explore all that we want to see. Admission is free for The Kinetic Garden.

The Kinetic Garden that is just outside of the Science Centre is free and the interesting structures keeps the kids occupied and learning about physics, sound and also offer loads of fun.

The water play and fun Waterworks brings can keep the children busy for hours too.

If you don’t mind paying for admission into the science centre, there is plenty to explore and educational and fun exhibitions like Water and Earth: Our Untamed Planet can keep the kids occupied for hours. Science shows and talks are an added bonus.

4. Evolution Garden At Singapore Botanical Gardens

This is the part of Botanical Gardens where we get to see the history and development of plants across the planet. It is educational for adults and older children with the informative signs as we walk along the winding trail to explore the unique landscape.

What a great chance to educate the kids during play time and exploring.
