Following up on my previous post using the range of Obagi Nu-derm products, Dr Yap from The Astique Clinic suggested that it’s time to begin my laser toning sessions so that I can enhance my treatment to improve my skin tone, tighten up pores and reduce fine lines.
Obagi Toning was created by Dr Zein E. Obagi M.D. who is a Dermatologist and a Master of Chemical Peeling. He believes that, "performing skin rejuvenation through procedures alone is like building a house on a weak foundation or without the follow-up touches of interior design."

Picture taken after the laser session. The "rosy-cheek" effect was caused by the laser and not blusher. Skin tone looks more even and pores are less visible.
Apparently, the laser toning has the ability to encourage collagen production. My skin looks more radiant now!
As they say... a picture paints a thousand words. How true! I can tell the difference from the "before" and "after" effects. 
Dr Yap mentioned that I should do about 3 sessions of laser toning for optimal effects. I will be going back to Astique for another session of laser in about 10days time.
My skin seemed to have settled down after weeks of using the Obagi Nu-derm range. No more 'flare ups", rash or itchy feel.
The skin feels a bit dry about a week after the laser and that is a common reaction according to Dr Yap.
The use of moisturizer will help to counter the dry feel on the face. Looking forward to nice, radiant skin!
