We cannot deny the fact that black is the most versatile colour in our wardrobe. And when we pack for our travels, we want to pick neutral colours for our outfits so that they match everything, and we can wear and re-wear them to keep our luggage compact. This is especially so during winter since black is an essential autumn/winter colour and to make layerings easy, we pack a lot of blacks into our luggage.

But it can be really boring when you look back at your travel photos and realized that your travel outfits were all so dull. Furthermore, winter streets are always lacking greens and colours. Really, we don't really have to dress like a ninja just for convenience. We take our beautiful OOTDs when we are not travelling, so all the more we should take pretty pictures when we go for holidays!

Here are some ways that we can jazz up our travel outfits and add colours to our winter travel photos.

1) If you really want to stick to more neutral colours, pick grey, white, brown or even blue, instead of the usual black.

2) Bring two coats instead of one. One staple black and one in a brighter colour, to make your travel photos more interesting.

3) Pick dresses of brighter colours to go with your black coat instead of wearing blacks and whites from head to toe.

4) Use accessories with a pop of colour to brighten the whole look.
