Shopping has to be every girl’s favorite past time and there is not better time to splurge than now since payday is here. Not to mention that it also coincidentally the start of the Great Singapore Sale. To sweeten things up, it is not just the local stores that are offering great bargains but also the international online shops too. As I have been buying lots of clothes previously so this month’s scores are mainly innerwear and accessories.
I had just received an e-mailer on the panty party that was going on at Victoria’s Secret for a limited period. So it is no secret where my first shopping buys for this month are from.
I have been a Victoria’s Secret fan since pre-university days and apart from the comfort fit, I have to admit that they have the cutest designs for the young at heart. The panties usually go for 5 for USD27.50 but when there is a panty party promotion, they go for 7 pieces at just USD27.50!
Naturally, I could not say no to such a good deal. And not when my sister would be in US to pick up the package for me so that I can save on international shipping too.
My next purchase were these gorgeous Hater caps, which have been made popular by Kpop celebrities. I am not exactly a cap person, however, I just could not resist getting these because of their interesting textures and unique designs.
But being the minimalist, I ended up getting the black ones in different materials. Black because it is a neutral colour that makes matching with outfits a breeze. The design is also unisex so that means I could share the caps with my husband as well. But maybe next time I would be able to pluck up the courage and go for a design and colour that is more adventurous.
I had decided to go on a shopping ban after splurging on undies and the caps. But I just could not give this adorable Samantha Thavasa My Melody bag a miss. And thanks to a girlfriend who would be helping me purchase directly from Japan, I could get it at a cheaper price.
My Melody is a Sanrio character that features a little bunny girl who is always wearing a red or pink hood that covers her ears. I had such a hard time deciding between the two colour. Firstly, My Melody is often seen in red so it felt like red would look more official. However, red is too bold and vibrant for me. Eventually, I decided to settle for the peachy pink shade and I cannot wait to get my hands on it.
Well, these are my shopping loot for now and I am trying to cut down on my spending for the time being. But I am not sure if I would be able to resist the temptation to shop again. Not when there are so many sales and promotions going on this month!
