Who knew that our queen of Mediacorp ever had bad skin, and not know how to take care of her skin in her younger days? Zoe Tay tells us about her thoughts on looking good, and shares with us her tips on skincare in our warm Singapore climate.
On her skincare regime
I did not know how to take care of my skin when I was young. My family wasn't particular about skincare and I was never taught that I should take care of my skin. When I entered the entertainment industry, I always have to put on a lot of makeup. I did not know how to do proper makeup removal or proper cleansing back then, and my skin suffered as a result of that. I then realized the importance of skincare and started a proper skincare regime. I've tried many different skincare brands and I think that it is really important to find one that is suitable for your skin type.

On one must-have skincare product
It has got to be sunblock. Sunblock is very important especially since we are living in Singapore. There are UV rays present even under indoor lightings, so sunblock is the most important to me.
On her pressure to have to look good all the time
I think it is my duty and my job to look presentable at all times and I try to present the best of myself to everyone. In fact, it is good pressure for me because I will need to constantly remind myself to take good care of my body and my skin. To me, it is also good manners to present yourself nicely to people around you!
One beauty advice
Always keep yourself hydrated. That goes for your skin too.
One fashion tip
A good pair of sunglasses!
