Clean Eating Out

Healthy eating is never an easy task, but hold on. What if I told you, there are a few tips that make it easier to eat clean? I know the urge to buy a chicken wing within a snap is possible. Here are a few tips that helped me along with eating clean all week.

Limit your junk food intake

Junk food is the cause of weight gain and believe it or not, it doesnt make you feel 'full' after a few hours as compared to eating healthy food! You totally can dedicate one meal of junk food in a week, I eat junk food on Fridays and keep the whole week with clean food.

I will fill up my Instagram timeline with fitness enthusiasts and clean eaters. Since I'm always on Instagram, why not kill 2 birds with one stone? They are so motivational and share their tips & tricks on how you can eat healthily & even exercise!

 

Go for a clean eating shopping!

Plan healthy ingredients & list them out. Remember to avoid saturated food, sugary "diet" bars and processed food. Processed foods are full of sodium, sugar and fat which we totally want to get rid of!

Instead go for :
• Whole grains : Brown rice, quinoa, oats
• Good fats : Olive oil, avocados, olives, nuts, natural peanut butter and etc
• Pump up on your veggies intake
• Whole foods : Any food that is from nature not ingredients you can't pronounce

Drink more water

If you work in an office, get a jug aboout 1.5 litres or more. Set a goal for example 3 litres/day! Fill up the jug and finish it before lunch and subsequently after lunch. There you have it, a simple trick to drink 3 litres/day. The more you pee the better! haha

Eat at least 5 meals a days

This means if you love eating, you will love clean eating so much like me! Haha! Eat healthy snacks in between breakfast, lunch and dinner such as nuts and sweet potato which I love!

60% Clean eating 40% exercise

As much hard work you give in by exercising but with a bad diet, you won't go far with losing weight! Totally have to amp up your diet with healthy food. Focus is key!

Join a Fitness club

This helps me so much with losing weight. I used to think exercise is such a chore but after joining a fitness club, I got so motivated to attend classes like Zumba & HIIT classes. It's always important to keep fitness fun!

I've been practicing these few tips for 3 years now and somehow they help me to become a better person and I feel energised and no longer tired after I wake up.
