Been into the art of yoga for quite sometimes, and even hashtagged all your yogi instagram posts with " yogaeveryday", "yogapro" or whatnots? Whether you're a newbie or veteran, you might not want to be identified with one of these mistakes, and embarrass yourself.

Guilty for: Keeping Your Shoes On
No matter how much you adore your pair of sneakers (okay, we know it’s the latest collection), but seriously leave them at the door of your yoga class. Imagine stepping on the yoga mat with your shoes after walking miles on the road. Girl, you’re really dragging the whole street onto that mat and rolling around in it (Sounds unhygienic enough?).

Stash your shoes in your gym bag or just place them in the cubicles at the yoga studio instead.
If you feel weird without shoes, then go for Yoga shoes which resemble ballet and are made of shock-absorbing materials like foam and rubber.

Guilty for: Wearing Loose Clothes
How about flashing your neon coloured bra in front of your yoga mates while you’re trying that Downward Dog pose? Embarrass Much! Yoga lesson is always full of twists, straddles and inversions. And wearing loose clothes almost double your chances of having them slipping off in the middle of your pose.

Guilty for: Being That Drama MAMA
Who need special sound effects for Yoga class anyway? Regardless of how relax, pain or depress you’re, do refrain from giving out loud exhales of breath or sighs. Remember yoga is a personal practice, and just because you feel the need to sigh, doesn’t mean the rest of your mates want to be involve in that experience.

Guilty for: Taking Up Others Personal Space
Sometimes a yoga instructor is so well-liked that almost all his or her classes will be packed with students. This mean you might be mat to mat with other students. In such scenario, be considerate and practice your spatial awareness as you flow through your poses. I’m sure you don’t like the idea of being smacked by another student right? Therefore, treat others like how you like to be treated.
