Pay Attention to Body Signals

“If I can run for an hour, then I can and should be able to swim for an hour too, yes?” You’re definitely wrong, if you think that way. The level of intensity varies for every sports, hence you might “surrender” even before hitting that one hour mark in pool as compared to on the tracks.

The best bet: listen to your body, if you’re tired, stop and call it a day. Don’t ever take your fitness (outside the pool) and throw it in the waters.

Quality Above Quantity

“The more you do something, the better you get?” We don’t totally agree, especially with swimming. Many beginners do not master the proper techniques, and this can affect their breathing efficiency and performance. Thus, instead of clocking in more swimming session, why not take the time to focus on the techniques instead?
