Former AKB48 member, Shinoda Mariko, has been chosen as the image character for Mentholatum's 'Lip Fondue' as Mentholatum Mariko. This will be her first CM appearance after her graduation from AKB48 on July 22.

The CM, titled 'Mentholatum Mariko', is scheduled to air starting August 3. Like the brand's trademark character, Shinoda can be seen in the CM wearing a nurse's outfit. She shows off her sexy lips in a white apron and nurse's cap.
Shinoda commented, "I am very honored since this is a character I've been seeing since I was young."
