Media reports revealed that Lee Joon Gi and Kim Ah Joong are in talks for the Korean remake of the popular U.S drama "Criminal Minds".
Lee Joon Gi is known for his period dramas and if confirmed, it will be Lee Joon Gi's first modern drama since "Two Weeks" (2013). He is currently going around Asia doing his fan-meetings after the success of drama "Scarlet Heart: Ryeo", and will be debuting in his first Hollywood movie in Resident Evil 6.
Kim Ah Joong is best known for her role is the highly successful movie "200 Pounds Beauty", where she plays a big girl who undergoes cosmetic surgery to become a pop sensation.
Lee Joon Gi’s agency, Namoo Actors, revealed, “It’s true that Lee Joon Gi received an offer for ‘Criminal Minds.’ He’s currently examining the project.” Kim Ah Joong’s agency stated that the actress received an offer and was looking over the project as well. (source: Soompi)

It's been seven months since the Korean remake was given the green light. Taewon Entertainment and New, the creators "Descendants of the Sun" will be co-producing "Criminal Minds" this time.
We are excited and looking forward to the remake, and watching Lee Joon Gi and Kim Ah Joong act together for the first time.
