Weight Loss Progress: The Power of CoolSculpting

I have been so caught up with work that I only just found time to pen this long overdue post on my 1.5-month weigh in!

As some of you know, I did a CoolSculpting treatment of my love handles and tummy in October 2016. Weight management is something I am passionate about helping my patients with as it is something I struggle with myself. This was why I decided to do a fat freezing treatment of my stubborn fats as well as find ways to keep my weight down through exercise and by watching my caloric intake.

 

Weighty issue

I asked Jean, my nutritionist and weight management programme manager, to take measurements for me, and here are my measurements. I have also included the measurements taken two weeks after my CoolSculpting treatment for comparison.

You would notice that I didn’t lose much weight; in fact I gained 0.7kg after my second weigh-in. It may not seem ideal BUT… look at the measurements for my waistline and body fat!

 

CoolSculpting works

My waistline decreased from 85.5cm to 81cm (4.5 cm difference). My body fat percentage too, decreased from 25.3 to 24.5. The difference in size may not seem discernible when I look at my abdomen everyday in the mirror but the fact is that changes have taken place, and the process of fat freezing is still ongoing.

The love handles have stopped looking less like muffins spilling over my pants. My tummy is also trimmer. The effect of the CoolSculpting treatment is ongoing, and I cannot wait to see the final result.

The numbers proof that CoolSculpting works. I may not have lost much weight in one month but CoolSculpting reduced my waistline (hurray!) and my body fat percentage. It is in line with the premise that CoolSculpting, through the cryolipolysis process, is killing my fat cells which are then passed out of my body naturally.

I am very encouraged by the progress so far. The next thing I need to work on is my weight, and there is Jean whom I can turn to for help. I’ll share more on my discussion with Jean soon. Until then, let us press on with our weight loss journey!
