The Grammys are all about pushing the envelope, going to extremes and, well, rock and roll, baby.
It shouldn’t come as any surprise in the slightest that this year’s most opulent, most out-there accessory was a pair of 24-karat-gold-dipped eyelash extensions.
The custom-made pieces cost $5,000 and require at least three hours to apply.
Tessanne Chin, the winner of last season’s The Voice, was the proud songbird to wear the gilded eye garb on the Grammys red carpet this year.
The extensions were created by Gina Mondragon of Lash Dip and are offered exclusively at Beverly Hills’ Jose Eber Salon.
